Advance Simulation Therapy Technician Qualifications

The following is a description of the requirement for each level of Advance Simulation Therapy Technicians. Advanced Simulation Technician positions represent a new job description in the professional health and wellness industry with a focus on human biological and physiological performance. Strict adherence to personnel training requirements are essential and maintained under the supervision of Dr. Sean Southland, PhD, MDAST, CBIS #18909 and Dr. Barbara Ainsworth, PhD, FACSM. Our current pool of candidates include students in: Nursing; Health & Wellness; Exercise Science; Human Behavioral Sciences, etc. Initial qualifying requirements will be strict with a focus on Compensatory Professional Experience reviewed by the aforementioned directors. A training protocol will be established at our research institute to ensure the highest quality of care and control of data. Performance Research Sciences is currently working on Board Certification Protocols with other International Certification Programs to develop International MDAST/AST Board Certification to occur at the Performance Research Sciences & Technology Brain Institute at a cost of approximately $30K-$40K per student. Initial starting salaries for personnel are mitigated by the high level of supervision required to provide training and evaluation. An MDAST is likely to earn upwards of $80-$120K annually when properly trained and certified. A clinical MDAST is likely to earn upwards of $120-$260K annually when properly trained and certified.

 

Description: Clinical - MDAST
Clinical MDAST Job Purpose: Serves as regional clinician and director of clinical operations. Certified brain injury specialist. Licensed clinician who provides expert testimony or depositions. Coordinates and supervises all clinical operations.

 

Clinical - MDAST Technician Job Duties:

·         Serves existing accounts by reviewing all MDAST related workflow. NeuroFitness Assessments; case studies; planning therapy protocols; investigating symptoms and diagnosis; conducting tests; resolving problems.

·         Establishes therapy regimen by studying client requirements; supervising therapy protocols; maintaining rate of perceived success with clientele; performing continued performance tests.

·         Maintains rapport with clientele by examining symptom complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending adaptive protocol improvements.

·         Keeps AST equipment operating by following operating instructions; software updates; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

·         Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

·         Maintains clientele confidence and operational security by keeping service information confidential.

·         Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.

·         Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Description: MDAST 
MDAST Job Purpose: Serves as clinician and/or trainer and site supervisor of personnel, data collection and ASR/AST proprietary protocols. Provides expert testimony and depositions when needed.

 

MDAST Technician Job Duties:
